I’ve been sitting here tonight thinking about Bhante Gavesi, and how he never really tries to be anything “special.” It is ironic that meditators often approach a teacher of his stature loaded with academic frameworks and specific demands from book study —desiring a structured plan or an elaborate intellectual methodology— yet he consiste
